Batteries causing issues

After a lithium Polymer (LiPo) Battery is alleged to have caused a house fire in the US, more and more shippers are refusing to ship items with LiPo batteries, luckily enough none of our powerboxes use them, just readily available quality alkaline batteries, which we can ship worldwide with no issues - and when they go flat you just pop in a new one, rather than wait hours for things to recharge.

Server Moves and cheaper shipping!!!

Well it looks like the server move worked well, with the new server up and running with the latest version of the webstore software happily ticking away. We still have some more work to perform on the server, but hopefully this won't result in any more down time.

Once of the changes we have implemented as part of the move is cheaper worldwide shipping!! Yes cheaper!!. Because we are based in the UK, it is sometimes difficult to explain the cost issues we have with shipping around the world. Most commercial shippers charge by volume and weight choosing the more expensive option (of course), so this does mean that a smaller packet can be disproportionally expensive. We have taken this into consideration and have linked up with DHL so if you purchase a control unit the likely hood is it will be shipped by a tracked courier, and could be delivered in days rather than the weeks the postal systems sometimes take!!

Server moves

Hopefully everything is ready to rock and roll, as tomorrow we are moving and upgrading our worldwide online store. We have tested and tested, but there is always something to trip you up, so fingers crossed

The worldwide store at store.e-stimsystems.com will be unavailable for upto 24 hours and as the DNS changes propergate around the world - watch our twitter feed @estim_us for updates

Mr B Electro Demos

Mick has a great weekend with the Boys from MrB Berlin, staging e-stim driven electro Demos over the weekend of 21st/22nd. Despite the cold weather and the fact it was the last shopping Sunday before Christmas, everyone who attended enjoyed their electro experiences.
